Install

Open PowerShell as Administrator

Click Start (), type PowerShell, right-click it, and select Run as administrator.

Run the installer

Paste this command and press Enter.
irm https://app.trymechai.com/install/solidworks.ps1 | iex

Restart SolidWorks when prompted

If SolidWorks is open, the installer requires a restart to register properly.

Sign in or create an account

MechAI access is tied to your work email. In the panel, use Sign up for your first visit, or Sign in if you’ve already created an account.

Open MechAI

In the SolidWorks Task Pane, open MechAI. The panel opens to the sign in screen.MechAI sign in screen in SolidWorksSign in with Google or your email and password. If you don’t yet have an account, use the next step.

Sign up if you're new

If you still need an account, click Don’t have an account? Sign Up at the bottom of the sign-in panel.MechAI sign up screen in SolidWorksComplete the form with Sign up with Google or email and a new password, then click Sign Up.

Uninstall

Open PowerShell as Administrator

Click Start (), type PowerShell, right-click it, and select Run as administrator.

Run the uninstaller

Paste this command and press Enter.
irm https://app.trymechai.com/uninstall/solidworks.ps1 | iex

Troubleshooting

If installation fails, make sure PowerShell is running as Administrator and try again. Still having issues? Email team@trymechai.com.
